Engineered to be positive buoyant – in addition to weighing just 3 pounds – this level III will defeat multiple 7.62×51 FMJ, M193, 7.62x39MSC, 5.56 FMJ, and also handgun munitions. However, Level III does not defeat armor-piercing threats. Instead, we recommend our Level IV products if you are facing Level IV threats.
